Matthew loves to craft stories which immerse viewers in the presence of God.
He tells stories which speak of truly good news. The stories that move every heart, since we were all made good. So good that God Himself would vacate heaven to redeem us from being fallen.
The Holy Spirit paved the way to Matthew’s call to tell stories. He grew up doing all the Catholic things - church every Sunday, going to Catholic school, praying rosaries with his family weekly - but when he went to college he used his freedom to pursue selfish desires.
A year and a half later, he was so lonely and knew he was made for more, so he went back to church for the first time since high school. When he walked through the church doors he heard Jesus say out loud to him, “Welcome home, Matthew.” God’s mercy for sins that warranted no mercy poured over him so tangibly that he cried throughout the entire Mass.
Matthew from that moment on knew that he wasn’t supposed to be a doctor of neurology, which he was studying to be, but to be a doctor of souls. After receiving the call to present Jesus through video media and so save souls, Matthew has served at various parishes, Damascus Catholic Mission Campus, and Greenhouse Cincinnati, in trust that the New Evangelization will rock the world with new yet enduring forms of beauty.
