Two meet on Catholic Match and run to the altar together in Dayton, Ohio
The Venturas
Champagne misting the air. Pure exuberance toward their spouse. Weeping with those who are suffering. Saying the hard thing because healing can happen only when truth is fastened firstly. Jumping up and down in joy. Humble awareness of the homage and thanks due to Jesus. This was the adventure of learning about Mary and Micah and celebrating their wedding.
Ambling through Riverscape Park in Dayton, Ohio, Micah & Mary recalled some intense details from their relationship: they were so quick to open up and let one another understand their heart concerning marriage and fears of it. But Jesus had already prepared them individually to accept the truth about his plans for them in marriage to one another. They did not mess around in dating one another: they wanted covenant, not transactional relationships.
Their journey led us to seeing them be wed to one another at the stunning Emmanuel Catholic Church and crowning the day with their reception at Bicentennial Barn.
Their relationship testifies of an outward-focused, sober-minded kind of love that does not care about the darkness: it magnifies the light inside of others instead.
